Duška Zagorac is a Bosnian-British film director and producer.  

Duška’s independent short fiction and documentary films have shown in numerous international festivals, including Venice Film Festival, where her short film LA APERTURA was nominated for the Silver Lion.  Her awards include the  Best of the Festival at Zinebi DSFF in Bilbao (LA APERTURA) and the  Best Documentary award at Sguardi Altrove in Milan (PATRIA MIA, NOMAD DIRECTION). 

In the course of her freelance career Duska has directed and produced numerous films for international broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, ARTE and AJI.    Her work for digital clients includes the winner of the  Best Educational Film at the BFI’s  Learning on Screen Awards, FAMILY HOME.  

Duška began her career as a producer in the late 90’s and has since worked for companies such as Jane Balfour Films, Channel 4, Bethnal Films and Creative Europe/MEDIA Development Fund.
