Duska Zagorac is a London based Writer, Director and Producer specialising in premium feature documentaries and series for global audiences. 

Her credits include the feature documentaries THE LOST LEONARDO (Sony Pictures Classic – BAFTA shortlist, Critics Choice & multiple IDA nominations), and OPERATION CONDOR (France 3 - Critics Week Cannes Film Festival), the short drama LA APERTURA (Channel 4 – Prix Europa & Silver Lion Venice Film Festival nomination) and a range of television programs: from seven Al Jazeera International Witness documentaries to a factual entertainment series for ARTE.

Duska is currently completing a three-part US documentary series to be released in 2023, which she wrote and produced for Fulwell 73.  Other projects releasing in 2023 include a three-part series for Netflix/Channel 4, a two-night special for A&E/Channel 4 and a three-part series for Peacock which she also developed for Fulwell 73. 

Duska started her career at Channel 4 Documentary Department and Jane Balfour Films, where she represented world’s top directors for over a decade including DA Pennebaker, Mira Nair, Victor Kossakovsky, Sergey Dvortsevoy, and Jennifer Fox.  She consulted on documentary and drama projects for international production companies and institutions including MEDIA - European Film Fund, Torino Film Lab and Guiding Lights.  

In addition to her documentary and drama work, Duska has directed award winning commercials and digital content for clients including the Premier League, Ocado and Olympic Team GB. 

Bringing extensive cross-genre experience to her documentary work, Duska is passionate about crafting thrilling narratives from complex real life stories. 

Duska was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and educated in the USA.  Following the outbreak of the Yugoslav Wars, Duska moved to London in 1992 where she still lives and works.
