Duska Zagorac is a London based Writer, Director and Producer specialising in premium feature documentaries and series for global audiences.
Her credits include the feature documentary THE LOST LEONARDO (Sony Pictures Classics), series DEPP V HEARD (Netflix/C4) and ANDREW (A&E Networks/C4), and drama including LA APERTURA (Channel 4). Duska is currently producing a feature documentary for a major streamer to be released in 2025.
Duska splits her time between development and production working across a diverse range of film, TV, and streaming projects for companies including Raw, Fulwell 73, Copenhagen based Elk Film and Paris/New York based Pumpernickel Films.
She started her career at Channel 4 Documentary Department and Jane Balfour Films, where she represented directors including DA Pennebaker and Viktor Kossakovsky, before co-founding Bethnal Films - where she produced and directed multiple award-winning documentaries and dramas. For over fifteen years, Duska also consulted for institutions including MEDIA, Europe’s largest film fund, and Torino Film Lab.
Duska was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and educated in the USA. Following the outbreak of the Yugoslav Wars, Duska moved to London in 1992, where she still lives and works.
